Intercasino is one of the online casinos that I’ve always admired.  I don’t play there constantly, but i always thought the place was one of the most reputable casinos on the net, and that carried some weight with me. 

i just got a notice from them that the player bonuses that they give out to everyone, every month, have had a change in their terms and conditions.  and it’s a big enough change that i have to post about it . . .

Players must now fulfil the wagering requirement (as detailed in terms & conditions) before:

being able to withdraw their initial deposit (up to the amount of bonus money received)
or any part of the bonus money,
or any winnings made from the promotional bonus money
E.g. if they deposit $100 and received the Match Deposit Bonus of $100, they will NOT be able to withdraw their original deposit or the bonus money until they have met the wagering requirements. If they deposited $150 and received the Match Deposit Bonus of $100, they will be able to withdraw $50 only.

at first the whole thing struck me as . . . what?!?!?!?

then i started thinking it through.  ok, say i’m at All Jackpots Casino.  i make my deposit of $50, and they give me $200 (super generous, by the way).  i lose about $100 or so on the Wheel of Wealth, and now have $150 in my account.  i can’t cash it out.  the first money you lose is your own.  and i think it’s the same at golden palace and a lot of other casinos.

so, that part doesn’t make much of a difference.

but, say i’m still at All Jackpots and hit a nice winner.  maybe a $200 winner, putting me up to $350.  now, i can cash out my winnings.  woo-hoo!  but it wouldn’t work that way at Intercasino anymore.  that’s a bummer. 

instead of watching for winners, i’d be back to spending attention on the wagering requirement.  that’s . . . less than the best way to spend time. 

i guess if you’re only looking to cash out the bonus cash, and the thrill is in seeing if you can get in the spins and get out with some of the casino’s money, it’s all a game anyway.  and so that probably hasn’t changed so much for the players who are just as much about taking some free casino cash home whenever they can (and i’m all for free casino cash, byt the way), but for folks who like to play the games and aren’t counting all the wagers and such, it could be a bother. 

either way, it’s certainly worth posting about, so you have a heads up on the new way their running the bonus at intercasino. 

and, if you’re not into the bonus money but just want to play with your own money and be able to cash out at any time, for any reason, i’m sure you can contact customer support and say “i don’t want the bonus, or any of the grief that comes with it.  just let me deposit and play like a regular person”.  i know players that do that all the time.  they just want to play, and the bonus thing gets to be a bother. 

in any case, that’s the new news on the new intercasino bonus rules!

well today is the day the new slots tourney kicks off at english harbour, so i just had to wander over there and check things out.  and, as i logged in, i see an increase in my “bonus cash” of $25.  which is what i won during the October freeroll on the Wheel of Chance machine.  woo-hoo!  it’s not enough to cover say, tonight’s birthday dinner for the young lad, but what the hell, a smaller win is better than no win, and a lot better than a loss.

ah, checking into the tournament lobby, i see i finished 80th in the october event. 

for the november tourney, on the Reel Deal Slot Machine, there are 4934 player already, and this is opening day!  WOW.

i think instead of jumping right in on the tournament, i’m going to take my Bonus Cash and walk over to the Wheel of Chance machine in the regular cash part of the casino, and see what i can do with $25. . . .

Well, i got a lot of spinning in, and turned my $25 in bonus money into about $20 over in the cash account.  never did unlock the bonus game, but i certainly can’t complain about the winners i found on the regular reels.

there is another new slot tourney breaking out at EH, not the big featured one, but a smaller tourney on a different machine.  i’ll save that for another day.  i can hear my chores calling, so i must be off.
